Firework by Kyle

When I was a firework I was in a shop then I got sold. Next I was in a car.
Next I was on the ground. I shot in the sky and I turned into a rainbow rocket.
I crashed in to mars. I am still alive. Thank you for caring about me. I am bursting In the sky.
Do not touch me. I am as hot as the sun.

What learner quality do I need to work on?

This term, hub 2 learners will be choosing what learner quality they think they most need to work on each week. On Friday we thought about which learner qualities we are really good at and which learner qualities we could try and use a bit more.

Jake is working on questioning this week.

Kyle is working on thinking this week.

I wonder which learner quality you are working on this week?

Sharing by halves and quarters!

Today we had to connect our knowledge from last week about fractions.

Here you can see we are sharing the blocks evenly into halves and quarters...

Monday, 7 April 2014

Today we spent time building our knowledge of social skills.

We took time to share what things we like and don't like.  Then came together to reflect on how we could use this knowledge to make the Stonefields environment a better place.

Clown Day

Yesterday, Miss Campbell's literacy groups found out what it was like to be a clown. Today we have been writing about our day as a clown.
