Me the firework,by David

I was In the shop waiting for someone to collect me. Then finally someone collected me. After they bought me. I was so excited for them to collect me. Then I arrived to the persons house. Now I am lit on the ground outside. I fizzed to the sky. I was colourful. Then I was falling to the ground. Then I disappeared on the ground. Like magic. Or like a magician.

Snails and Slugs

Snails and Slugs!

Today we have been learning all about 'The Living World.'

One of the experiences was to observe and investigate the similarities and differences between snails and slugs.

We began we wonder about a lot of things, for example:

Why do snails move slowly?

Why do snails have tiny eyes?

Are snails carnivores or herbivores?

Are slugs and snails related?

Why do they like to stick together in large groups?

Why do they have slime or goo?

Today we got a chance to explore spelling city!

This is going to be part of our rotation of weekly activities to help us improve our literacy learning.  It's going to be used when we learn spelling rules, practice handwriting and dance mat typing.

If you would like to use spelling city at home, click on the 'Literacy' tab on the LH2 site and you'll see the link.  EASY!

Here are some photos of the Year 3s teaching the Year 2s how to use the site
