Brilliant Mathematicians!

This week in numeracy we discussed what a brilliant mathematician is to prepare ourselves for our numeracy learning.

A brilliant mathematician ...

         - is determined/tries hard                     - uses basic facts
 - uses their knowledge               - reflects                           - focuses
           - is a good listener           - shares ideas             - connects

- knows all their numbers                  - writes all the numbers to 100

Festival of Education!

In our hubs we have been practicing the theme song and we thought you might like to practice at home as well.

Watch out it's a catchy tune...

Today in numeracy we learned a new activity to help us remember our groupings to 10.

It stretched me because with some children I was fast and others I was slow - Mikayla

It helped us to use our basic facts - Kyan

The more we played the faster we got - Danielle
